These are used to split the signal from the Optical LNB prior to distribution via the virtual convertors.

For point to point distribution due to the high output and extremely low loss of the fibre optic lead a splitter will still need to be added even though you may not need it. Alternatively an attenuator can be used to reduce the signal strength.
Each splitter is supplied with 1m Pre-terminated leads according to number of outputs.
