TV / FM face plates for terrestrial TV & FM / DAB (Digital audio broadcasting), these new type of wall plate are becoming the standard in preparation for digital terrestrial. The fully screened metal block at the rear of the wall plate is intended to minimise the risk of interference or noise which is essential for the future. These wall plates should be used in conjunction with a fly lead (Wall plate to TV) using CT100 / BSKYB approved double screened cable. Can be used in conjunction with a 4,6,8 set amp which will combine the TV / FM signals in the loft, allow both signals to travel through the one downlead and then split (Diplexed) behind the TV using the above wall plate.
Especially useful if you have a large amount of cables to the rear of the TV, the wall plate and fly lead will prevent the signals from other leads entering the main TV cable (Interference).
